Outdoor Lights — Weather-Rated Wall, Garden and Landscape Lighting
Outdoor lighting has to shape the exterior after dark and withstand the environment in which it is installed. Zenduce's Outdoor Lights collection includes architectural wall lights, garden and ground lighting, solar options and decorative exterior fixtures in a range of materials and IP ratings.
- Weather ratings vary by model: IP54 and IP65 are common among current designs, but always use the exact rating on the product page.
- Wall, garden and ground formats: Layer façade light with lower landscape lighting.
- Hardwired and solar options: Choose based on permanence, available wiring and required output.
- Exterior-ready materials: Aluminum, stainless steel, acrylic and glass appear across the range.
Understand IP Ratings Before Choosing the Style
An IP rating describes resistance to solid particles and water ingress. A covered porch and a wall exposed to driving rain are different environments. Match the stated rating and installation instructions to the actual location.
Layer the Exterior Like an Interior
Use wall lights to define entrances and architecture, then add lower garden or ground lighting for paths, planting and depth. Several moderate sources create better hierarchy than one overly bright fitting.
Solar or Hardwired?
Solar fixtures reduce cabling and help where electrical access is difficult, but performance depends on sun exposure and battery condition. Hardwired fixtures provide more predictable permanent output for key architectural lighting.
How to Choose
- Start with the exposure level.
- Check the exact IP rating.
- Choose color temperature for the façade and landscaping.
- Plan weather-safe wiring and mounting.
Installation Note
Hardwired outdoor lighting should be installed by a qualified electrician using weather-appropriate connections and local electrical-code requirements.
